A simple call with a real person that leaves you smiling
If you are feeling lonely, a good starting point could be to establish the reason for your loneliness. You may have had a life changing experience like a relationship breakdown, may have been bereaved, everyone you were connected to has either moved on or away, are disabled or are dealing with mental health issues and are looking for ways to make new friends and improve your social life. Getting involved in social activities in your local community is a good way of meeting new people, finding a sense of purpose through engagement. Social Call Services has created a platform using readily available technology, to enable people who live in prolonged periods of social isolation be connected to a real person via a video call at a time of their choosing and be signposted to local activities of their choosing. This service enables service users, who would otherwise be left to experience lonely spells by themselves be connected to a real person here in the United Kingdom with whom they can talk about things of interest to them while at times sharing family videos, pictures, music, past experience as well as current ones. Multi-media is used as triggers for pleasant conversation. Call us to find out more.
Social Call Services is listed on many Local Authorities directories across the nation.

Celebrating The Past, Present & Future
Social Call Services wants to spread our message of hope and compassion to those who may be losing hope. We believe that our Social Call Services initiative can make a difference among those dealing with mental health issues, the disabled and or older people who live in isolation in the community and that this service can greatly impact their world positively. This consequentially reduces avoidable and unplanned hospital admissions among the socially isolated, disabled, frail, those dealing with mental health issues and or the disabled. In October 2018, the then PM Theresa May launched the first Cross-Government strategy to tackle loneliness, three quarters of GPs surveyed have said they are seeing between one and five people a day suffering with loneliness, which is linked to a range of damaging health impacts, like heart disease, strokes and Alzheimer’s disease. The Social Call Service initiative gives continued support of isolated older people to be discharged from hospital when they are ready since they look forward to being discharged back to their homes, consequently thereby inducing low levels of delays in discharge from hospital. Through creatively recreating simulations of past memories, highlighting relevant current affairs in their communities, future plans and wishes, advocacy and sign posting service users to other services such as outreach activities, day care centres, cookery classes, walking clubs and art groups as well as developing friendship and so on, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
